Summer is slowly creeping it's way back to New Zealand and with the warmer weather, my ridiculously sensitive teeth can now handle my favourite breakfast meal - Green Smoothies.
I get they're more like a dying trend nowadays, but I still love them. They're an easy way to get in essential vege and nutrients you might not usually get throughout the day. Plus if you pack them with the right ingredients, they have you fuelled and energised for the day.
I've tried a lot of smoothies in my time and to be honest, I like to keep it simple. But with the recipes below, I think you should challenge yourself, step outside of yourself and try some out. You won't like all of them, but you will enjoy some and that's enough.
